Precision Engineers for the Future
Your first step towards a brilliant career
Going straight from school to college or university isn’t for everyone. Apprenticeships give you the freedom to start your career straight after your school exams. Gain valuable qualifications, and earn a salary at the same time.
In 2019, Kirkstall Precision opened its Apprentices Academy and launched a programme designed in-house to develop apprentices beyond the skills required on the national curriculum. The Apprentices academy develops specific specialised skills sets required in the precision Engineering sectors such as Medical, Aerospace and Motor Sport as well as other specialist sectors, and offers our apprentices a much wider choice of career.
We see our apprentices as the future of our business. We invest in learning and development programmes to equip you with the skills, knowledge and support you need to reach your full potential.
Recent studies have found that apprentices can earn up to £4,000 more in their first job compared to university graduates.
15% of employers think that apprentices are actually more employable in comparison to other learning routes.
When it comes to choosing your next steps for further education, always remember that the right path is the path that’s best for you. Make your decision based on how you like to learn and what you want to learn.
